7 women alledgedly abducted in Borno State as suspected Boko Haram members attacks village





Unknown armed men suspected to be members of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram have abducted seven women and killed three others in an attack on Ndagu Village of Askira-Uba Local Government Area of Borno State on Monday Jan 23rd.





The gunmen stormed the village at about 5am and began shooting sporadically then fled with some cars belonging to residence after burning down homes. 





While confirming the incidence, the state Commissioner of Police, Damian Chukwu, said


“From the information we have, the attack took place three days ago and the intelligence gathered was that 7 women were abducted and three persons were also killed. Most of the villagers fled but their houses were completely razed down by fire which the attackers use to set them ablaze".
